Ingredients
- 200g cooked shrimp (peeled)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices crusty white bread or rye bread
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
- Extra dill (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a food processor or with a fork, blend the cooked shrimp until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on preference.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined to form a creamy shrimp spread.
- Toast the bread slices until golden and crispy. Spread a thin layer of butter on each slice while warm.
- Generously spread the shrimp mixture onto each toasted bread slice.
