  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Additional olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper until smooth to make the hummus. Set aside.
